Date: 12-11-2014
Timetable: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Location: CITM (Igualtat, 33. Terrassa)

Another open lecture in our Creative CITM series, "The challenge of creating a great adventure. The Sendokai Champions Challenge: a transmedia story", with the studio Kotoc Productions, will take place at the CITM (c/de la Igualtat 33, Terrassa) on Wednesday 12 November 2014 at 6 pm.

The heads of the studio Frederic Córdoba Schwaneberg and David Diéguez Redondo will be discussing the history of Kotoc Productions up to its creation of an outstanding international visual brand, with emphasis on its major production Sendokai Champions Challenge, a unique animation series and a completely transmedia universe. Sendokai Champions Challenge (Campions Sendokaien in Latin America) is a Spanish animated series, co-produced by Kotoc and RTVE, which premiered in Spain on April 9 2013 on the Clan channel, and on 3 June 2013 in Latin America, on the Cartoon Network . The series consists of 52 episodes of 12 minutes each. It has so far been broadcast in Spain and several Latin American countries. It has also been broadcast in the United States on the Vortex channel since October 2013, and in Portugal in collaboration with Canal Panda.

Since Kotoc Productions was founded in 2006, Freddy Córdoba, as the studio director and David Diéguez, as executive producer, have worked with their team to create animated series, video games and advertising campaigns that are broadcast internationally on televisions around the world, as well as via the Internet and mobile applications with the aim of creating transmedia universes that can entertain and entice modern audiences. Their work has been recognized on numerous occasions with awards as important as the Goya, the LAUS, the PromaxBDA, the Mipcom, the Art Futura Award and the Gamelab, among many others.
