From July 7 to 10, a new edition of TU. SUMMER CAMPUS TEC will take place, a program aimed at 3rd and 4th year secondary school students with Specific Educational Support Needs (NESE), within the framework of the Educational Environment Plan of the city of Terrassa.

Two of the four planned activities will be held at CITM-UPC and will allow participants to explore the world of digital creativity, animation, and video games through practical and dynamic workshops.

🎮 Scheduled workshops:

  • Introduction to character design for animation and video games (14 h)
From July 7 to 10
From 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
 
  • Design and program your own 2D and 3D video games (14 h) 
From July 7 to 10
From 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
 
The project also involves the collaboration of other leading university centres such as ESEIAAT-UPC, where a digital fabrication workshop will be held, and ESCAC, which organizes an audiovisual storytelling workshop.

The new call for Impuls UPC 2026 grants is now open, promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

These grants provide financial support to entrepreneurial projects and emerging companies from the UPC community.

Two participation tracks

Impuls UPC – Entrepreneurial Talent 2026

Aimed at early-stage projects, without a formally established company, linked to any UPC entrepreneurship support initiative (such as the Emprèn UPC Programme, Santander X Explorer, project or business creation courses, Primer Programmes, among others).

  • Target group: undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students of the UPC (academic years 2024-25 and/or 2025-26)
  • Grant: up to €3,000 per project
  • Number of awards: 10 projects
Impuls UPC – Emerging Company 2026

Aimed at technology-based startups and spinoffs already established, in their first years of activity.

  • Target group: startups or spinoffs established between 2024 and 2026, promoted by students, alumni, PDI and/or PTGAS of the UPC.
  • Grant: up to €7,500 per company.
  • Number of awards: 8 companies.
The application period for both tracks will be open until May 31, 2026.
