Date: 06-05-2014
Timetable: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Location: Casa de Cultura de Sant Cugat (c/ de Castellví 8, Sant Cugat del Vallès)

On Tuesday 6 May at 18:30h, the Casa de Cultura de Sant Cugat (c/de Castellví 8, Sant Cugat del Vallès) will host the Creative CITM: "House of cards. The adventure of creating your own videogames studio", by Kevin Cerdà, game designer and writer at Beautifun Games. Kevin Cerdà will tell us about his experience with videogames: from when he studied the masters’ degree in Videogame Design and Creation at the UPC School, when he created his first professional project and how, finally, he decided to go on an adventure and create his own videogames studio, BeautiFun Games, the label through which he launched the successful Nihilumbra game, considered one of the best games of the year in 2012 by Apple and the winner of awards such as the Gamelab award to the best design, or the Fun & Serious Festival, enjoyed by thousands around the World.

Anecdotes, conclusions, moral messages and dogmas from the hand of this successful entrepreneur in the videogames industry on how to prepare for this fantastic, yet competitive world.

The first CreativeCITM will focus on the videogames industry, one of the areas of expertise at the Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Centre of the UPC, which as of 2014-2015 will be setting up a new Degree in Videogame Design and Development.

You can’t miss it!
