Registration calendar. Academic year 2019-20

Calendar

1. University preregistration - From 4 June to 1 July 2019

You will have to preregister by means of the university preregistration process described on the website of the Government of Catalonia.

The codes for our degree courses are:

  • 31093 - Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation and Digital Art
  • 31074 - Bachelor's degree in Video Game Design and Development (Terrassa)
  • 31083 - Bachelor's degree in Video Game Design and Development (Barcelona)
  • 31042 - Bachelor's degree in Multimedia

2. Results of university entrance tests - 26 June 2019

You can check the results of the university entrance tests using the Government of Catalonia's University Access Portal University Access Portal.

3. Asignación de plazas - 11 July 2019

You can consult the assignment of places, which will be announced on the University Access Portal. You will also receive a notification from the Government of Catalonia with the assignment of your place.

4. Confirmation of assignment - 11 and 12 July 2019

If you have been assigned a place with us, you will be notified by an SMS and email from the UPC, confirming this assignment.

5. Assignment of registration day - 11 and 12 July 2019

  • You will receive a call from the Academic Secretary's Office at the CITM to assign you a day and time to register.
  • You will have to activate your account at the UPC. After completing is completed, you can access the e-Secretary.
  • You will have to access the e-Secretary to review and/or update your data. It is essential to carry out this step before registering.
    The e-Secretary is the virtual platform that you will have to use to access your records and all the academic formalities during your life at university. From here, you can review and amend your personal information and upload the photo for arranging your UPC card.

6. Registration - 15 to 18 July 2019

If you have been assigned as a first choice, you can register now. You have to do this in person at our centre in Terrassa, on the date and time we have agreed.

What do you need to know before registering?

  • If you do not register in the stipulated period, you will lose the place assigned to you. It will be reassigned to another student on the waiting list.
  • The student must register in person. If the student is unable to do so in person, the person who does so must present the registration authorisation document with the original of their national identity document and a photocopy of the student's national identity document.
  • Registration is the contract between you and the CITM. You will have to make the payment after you have registered.

Documentation

Documentation needed for registration

  • Original national identity document no. + photocopy of both sides on the same page
  • Identity card photograph
  • If you are paying by direct debit, you will have to bring the signed SEPA Order document
  • Foreign students must submit the original and photocopy of their country’s identity document or passport, and their foreigner identity document if they have one

Methods of payment

The first year of our degree courses, which have a study load of 60 ECTS, costs €6,360. The price per ECTS credit is €106.

Payment can be made using any of the following three methods, which you will have to choose on registration.

1. Single payment for 100% of the amount

Bank direct debit. The signed SEPA Order form must be presented at registration.

SEPA Order Form for students who are account holders

SEPA Order Form for students who are NOT account holders (The document be signed by the account holder and the student)

Bank transfer. You will have 3 days to make the payment. This can be done at any bank branch using the bar code that appears on the printed registration form. After you have done this, send us the payment receipt to the following email: info.citm@citm.upc.edu

2. Payment divided into two instalments (50% -50%)

Bank direct debit. The signed SEPA Order form must be presented at registration. The first payment will be charged in July and the second in December.

3. Payment in instalments - AGAUR loan

The loan will be arranged with the financial institution, which will contact the student directly after registration has taken place.

Recipients: Students registering for a first and second cycle, bachelor's degree, master's degree, postgraduate or doctorate course at any university or teaching centre of the Catalan university system that is affiliated to the Agreement.

Deductions

Students who when registering can prove that they are eligible for any of these exemptions and deductions will receive a reduction in the credit price. You can consult the specific cases in the following table:

Disabled people €21.46 Original and photocopy of the certificate that certifies a level of disability of at least 33%, issued by the competent body
Victims of terrorist attacks €21.46 Original and photocopy of the relevant administrative ruling. The family record book must also be attached if applied to the spouse or children
Victims of gender violence €21,46 Original and photocopy of any of the documents stipulated in the current regulations, as well as the family record book if there are dependent children
Distinctions €21.46 Original certificate issued by the higher secondary education centre
Extraordinary higher secondary education prize €21.46 Original certificate issued by the higher secondary education centre
