En el marco de la celebración del 120 aniversario de ESEIAAT, el Centro ha organizado un ciclo de conferencias tituladas “La ingeniería en el corazón de la sociedad” que plantean como hilo conductor la conexión de la tecnología y la ingeniería con aspectos de carácter cultural social y humanístico.

El lunes día 24 de enero, de 9:30h hasta las 12:30h, tendrá lugar una clase magistral de Inteligencia Artificial en el Auditori 1 del edificio TR5 del Campus de Terrassa.

El ponente es el Prof. Dr. Ramon López de Mántaras, informático y físico. Ingeniero Técnico en Electrónica por la Universidad de Mondragón, Doctor en Física por la Universidad Paul Sabatier de Toulouse (Francia), Master of Science en Informática por la Universidad de California Berkeley y Doctor en Informática por la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Profesor de Investigación del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), director del Instituto de Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial y "Chancelor's Distinguished Visiting Professor" de la University of Technology Sydney. Profesor externo de la University of Technology Sydney y de la Western Sydney University.
